Beehive’s Social Club is designed as a semester-based membership that allows children to become part of a consistent social community. Rather than attending occasional events with different children each week, members participate alongside familiar peers, creating opportunities to develop trust, confidence, communication, and lasting friendships. Children return each week or each month knowing many of the other members, creating an environment that feels welcoming, predictable, and exciting.

As technology becomes increasingly embedded in children’s lives, many young adults are missing valuable opportunities to socialize and develop essential interpersonal and networking skills. We offer older children opportunities to participate in social groups that build communication, confidence, and the practical skills needed for successful adult life while building vocational and independent living skills like cooking, community skills, and social interactions.

Research has consistently shown that high-quality play experiences support communication, executive functioning, creativity, self-regulation, social competence, early literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific reasoning, and emotional development. The Play Lab™ is a semester-based developmental program where children participate in carefully designed play experiences that strengthen every area of development. Our educators design activities that help children progress through the developmental stages of play while building communication, problem-solving, social relationships, and independence.

Dance helps children express themselves, develop confidence, strengthen coordination, and discover the joy of movement. Designed for children with little or no previous experience, our semester-long program focuses on building confidence while teaching foundational skills of balance, coordination, rhythm, body awareness, confidence, creativity, and listening.

Learning to play the piano is about much more than reading music; it teaches patience, focus, perseverance, listening, creativity, confidence, and the joy of expression through music. Our program is designed for beginning musicians who are ready to explore the world of music in a fun, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation in piano posture, hand position, finger independence, rhythm, beat, and musical patterns.

Beehive provides children with a safe and encouraging environment where they develop the foundational movement skills needed for gymnastics, dance, sports, and lifelong physical confidence. Designed for beginners, our semester-based program emphasizes proper technique, body awareness, coordination, flexibility, strength, and fun. We are not an organized sports team or affiliated with any formal league, team competition, or team apparel program.

Our Homeschool Enrichment Center™ was created to compliment the excellent work families are already doing at home. Our semester-based enrichment academies provide hands-on learning experiences, collaborative projects, expert instruction, and meaningful friendships while allowing parents to remain in control of their child’s educational journey. We offer academic support, project-based science, social opportunities, and enrichment experiences.

Beehive offers a project-based science program where children learn by exploring, building, experimenting, creating, and discovering. Every semester centers around exciting, hands-on investigations that encourage curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Children will ask questions, make predictions, design investigations, build models, test ideas, observe results, and work as a team.

Beehive uses a comprehensive developmental reading program built on the principles of the Science of Reading. Rather than offering isolated sessions, we guide children through a carefully sequenced curriculum where each lesson builds upon the last. Families may enroll in a single semester that targets a specific area of need, or complete the entire pathway. Foundational skills taught include listening, vocabulary, speech and language, memory, attention, sound awareness, and pattern recognition in spoken language. Reading-age children develop phonics, decoding, fluent reading, comprehension, and lifelong learning.

As computers and phones become a larger part of daily life, many children are losing the vital skills of handwriting. Writing requires children to coordinate movement, attention, memory, language, visual processing, executive functioning, and creativity—all at the same time. At Beehive Academy, we believe handwriting is not an old-fashioned skill. Our Writing Success Academy™ helps children develop the confidence, fluency, and foundational writing skills that support success in school and throughout life.

We offer a comprehensive developmental mathematics program designed to help children build strong mathematical thinking from preschool through the early elementary years. Built around hands-on learning, games, exploration, and problem-solving, our curriculum follows a carefully sequenced pathway where each semester builds upon previously mastered concepts. Families may enroll in an individual semester that targets a specific skill or complete the entire pathway.

We offer parents the opportunity to connect with other families in similar situations, creating a supportive community of shared understanding and encouragement. Along with our tailored parent training sessions, parents can socialize and exchange experiences. We also provide parents with a library of resources; every brochure, guide, and workshop will educate parents on evidence-informed child development and family partnership. Parent’s night out is offered on weekends for children between 4-10 years old!

Group learning helps children prepare for the school setting by building routines, participation skills, and classroom readiness. It allows children to learn with and from peers through shared activities while practicing appropriate behaviors within a group, such as listening, taking turns, following directions, and cooperating with others. Our programs incorporate group learning into all curricula to build group skills and find friendships.
